Plastic Canvas Kissies
I first published this back on Mar 16, 2008, when I first started my blog. For some reason, the information is there for me to edit but when you go to view it, it says it isn’t there. So I am republishing it. Sorry to the person who commented as I can’t find it to bring over.
Ok, I was talking in my introduction about Kissies that I used to like to make. I taught my children and nephews how to make them too and we had some good quality time making them together. Following is a book that I used, some patterns to try from online, and some additional books to get with Kissies in them. If you should create some of your own, I would love to see them.
Here is a book of patterns that I used back in the 80’s:
Leisure Arts Leaflet 1112 – Gimme A Kiss In Plastic Canvas: Leaflet with kiss characters in plastic canvas. Pig, Bunny, Reindeer, Cow, Dog, Duck, Santa and Monkey
Here are some patterns I found online:
The Kissin’ Frog: Really cute
Krafty Kris’s frog kisses: Also gives suggestion on how to make this one into a puppy.
Santa’s Kiss: . I have not personally made this one as I just recently found it but thought it looked really cute.
Here are some books that I have not as yet gotten but will give you some more ideas:

There are so many leaflets out there that I cannot find except on eBay that look interesting. You might try googling plastic canvas kissies, plastic canvas squeezies, plastic canvas kiss
I cannot seem to find the book that I am looking for. It was a book with people kissies. It had faces from all careers and some with flowers on it.

I am desperately looking for a plastic canvas pattern which I have mislaid on kisses. It had around 10 very simple kisses created with three squares each of 10×10 holes, you then made them into various animals with the decoration which was added, there was a bird and a lion which had a knitted mane. Do you have any idea where I might find one?
I am sure I have the pattern you are looking for – the kisses of all different careers, will send you a photo if you wish.
thanks for reading,
Judith Connor

i am usually bouncing around the online world just about all of the afternoon therefore I possess a tendency to browse quite a bit, which isn’t commonly a good factor as many of the pages I visit are composed of unnecessary garbage copied from other websites a zillion times, on the other hand I’ll hand it to ya this website is definitely quite informative and features a bit of genuine substance, for that reason thanks for stopping the pattern of solely copying other folks’ blogs, if you ever want to try a few hands of facebook poker together with me just hit me up – you have my e-mail
Just want to say hello to everyone. I was Google searching for the kissables/squeezums and found your post. I’m a member of a yahoo group where we share all kinds of plastic canvas patterns. Some just share most of the ones you are looking for. But there are a few she is looking for (Bald Eagle is one)! If your interested in the group search yahoo groups for plasticcanvasfriends . Or just email me Tweety31762@gmail.com
I am also looking for the Kisses Santa Pattern. HELP. Lost mine. Email it to me at freda_lou2002@yahoo.com. How much is it?.
I have looked all over for free patterns for the kissy critters! I can’t find them anywhere! Every site I find comes up as a non-trusted site. I would like to have any and all that would be available, they are so cute! The careers ones would be great for me to make the teachers at the Christian school. I will mainly be making these for the Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes.
Thanks for any info,
Snady
Sandy, I am in the process of updating my original post. I will be putting it up in the next couple of days. I deleted any that were bad and put in some new ones that I found.
