Athena Magazine’s Weblog Feature

My GrandmaMarilyns Etsy Shop was featured on Athena Magazines Weblog on December 3, 2008.  This weblog is sponsored by Marjorie Cunningham.  Her Etsy shop is Marjorie’s Cracked.

Back in September, I learned of Marjorie’s shop when she asked for the members of Beadingaholics to look at her site and critique it for her.  Well, you know me.  I take requests like that very seriously and went to work on it.  I helped her make an avatar and banner that matched her website.  Plus I sent her a few more bits of knowledge that I have learned from my Etsy Beadweavers Team since I joined them.  At that time, she told me that she would be featuring me in her blog.

The end of October, I received an email with the interview questions on it.  I started working on the answers and my laptop died taking the interview with it.  You know that saying "out of sight, out of mind".  Well, that held true here.  I forgot all about the interview.  Then mid-November, I received a reminder letter and the lightbulb went on.  I sat down and over a couple of days finally got the questions answered to my satisfaction.

Go on over to her weblog to see the final result.  I hope you enjoy the interview.

  1. I knew the readers of my jewelry interviews on the Athena Magazine Weblog would love to read about your beautiful work, Marilyn. And you did such a great job of answering my questions. Thanks again for taking the time to do that. Your interview is getting lots of traffic and attention over there!
